Positive: Incredible location, simple living (we love that) but still extremely clean and comfy, staff were lovely and so helpful. Breakfast was good. We were only staying for one night, but wish we could have stayed for more. AND we saw the milky way.

Negative: Toilets could be slightly improved but no real problems at all!

Summary: Beautiful place. Beautiful people. Beautiful Wawowow

Positive: Total serene beauty, comfortable cabins, great place to to relax. We saw eagles in the morning and enjoyed a delicious breakfast. The owners are so lovely and helpful! 10/10

Positive: Wawowow is a very special place. But it’s not for everyone. If you want to be away from city sounds and pollution, way out in the peace of the countryside among farms and mountain views — and if you are a person who enjoys the ruggedness of tent or A-frame cabin camping, then you will love Wawowow. Alvin has built this off-the-grid retreat himself, adding to it each year. He and his staff are caring and helpful. The well laid out grounds are covered in lawns and most if not all tents and cabins have small brick firepits. Alvin can provide the firewood for them. When I was there a number of people sat around these campfires at night singing and playing guitars. No sound amplification is allowed. Some people chose to stay on the grounds for several days. I used it as a jumping off place each morning to tour different parts of the Tomohon area each day., returning each evening.

Negative: There was nothing I did not like.
